For the past few months, I’ve been working with Crazy Legs Productions and Eclipse Post on
a new show for the Travel Channel called “Hidden City”. It airs Tuesday nights at 10pm on the
Travel Channel, beginning December 6th. Check it out!

Promax World Award

Also in the past few months, a series of Behind The Scenes interstitials for the vampire show “Split”,
that producer Alexie Caravia and I created for Boomerang Latin America, was nominated for
and won a Bronze Promax World Award. Further congratulations go to Alexie for being awarded
the Promax BDA Rocket Award for Outstanding work in her field!

“Running”

This is a film that I edited as part of the Atlanta 24 Hour Film Race over the weekend of April 29-30 this year. It was directed by Leo Ricciardi and produced by one of my favorite clients, Maria Layus. It was just recently announced as the winner of Best Film, Best Cinematography and Best Editing for the city, among others.

“In Pursuit Of Justice”

   For the start of the new year, I thought I’d feature one of the best
   from last year. Featured at the annual awards dinner for the
   Committee to Protect Journalists, this short documentary turns the
   spotlight on the Philippines and the horrific Maguindanau massacre.

The piece was produced by Crazy Legs Productions for Reuters and CPJ.

   “Boomerang Mobile Horoscope”

   For November, I thought I would show off my artistic prowess, or
   rather my lack there of. But that wont stop me from trying.
   Boomerang LA just recently pushed out a new look for their channel, so I
   figured what better way to jazz up their sleak new graphics than with
   crudely drawn and animated stick figures!

   “Connor Undercover IDs”

   For the month of August, I wanted to feature one of several spots I’ve
   worked on lately for Boomerang Latin America. This one is for the new
   show “Connor Undercover”. Shot and Produced here in Atlanta, it
   highlights the tone and subject of the show, along with being funny
   all by itself.

   “Split”

   For the month of April, I wanted to feature this short teaser for the new
   vampire show, “Split”, coming soon to Boomerang. With producer Alexie
   Caravia, I created the graphic package for the show on Boomerang, along
   with the teaser edit. (Props to Juan Baez for the killer audio!)

   “Boombox in Concert with Kaiser Chiefs”

   For the month of March, I’ve chosen the spot for “Boombox in Concert with
   Kaiser Chiefs” that I worked on with producer Maria Layus of Boomerang.
   Given the task of ‘pumping up the energy’ for a concert in a relatively small
   venue, we created a nicely paced, high-energy promo for the upcoming
   broadcast.

So I’ve been seriously delinquent in keeping my website updated. So here’s a slew of new stuff from the last few months:

“School of Rock” (New LCB look)

“The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack: Web Game”
This piece is a promo for a web-based video game for the show “Flapjack”. In order to obtain footage for the promo, we had to ’screen-cap’ video of myself playing the game. So, to some extent, the quality of the spot depended upon my gamer skills!

“TDI Finale: Gwen Wins”
For their version of the Total Drama Island finale, Boomerang decided to shake things up and change who would become the winner of the animated reality show.

“Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within”
Also in the last few months, I decided to cook up a few spots and trailers of my own. The first of which is a spot for the first film adaptation of Final Fantasy.
